I think it's only a 100% fair that if you buy a program for this purpose it does what is supposed to do.
You said over a month ago that you were in Betatesting and would have results soon, where are they?

Under Fox's old method of delivering video, because the method was browser based, Hide My IP worked fine.
When they changed the method of delivery to its current system, HMIP cannot be held accountable when another website decides to adopt a delivery methodology that is outside the scope of our software.

The software engineers are doing their best to work on this issue.

Just wanted to add that Hulu stopped working too

"Based on your ip adress, we detected that you are trying to access Hulu via an anonymous proxy tool. Hulu is currently not available outside the US"...

The death of the program?

"Stopped working" means it was working with Hide My IP.

Hide My IP works with Hulu. Please review this post:

In Europe you hardly receive hulu only for a minute or so. It's hopeless to watch it does not matter which IP you use.

Hulu is having a lot of growing pains. In time, I'm sure they'll be a maturely programmed service that all can enjoy while using Hide My IP.

Has anyone gotten this straightened out yet. I

have followed every single piece of advice...cleared cookies, etc..I've cleared EVERYTHING. I am unable to watch Hulu. Tonite I wanted to watch a clip about the MVA awards, and it said no, go not in your country...Canada... At that time, I didn't have Hide my IP running (I didn't know this site would have not allowed Canadian viewing). I did all my steps etc...started Hide My IP went back in and everything was OK. So it's obvious my Hide MY IP is working fine. BUT HULU just doesn't seem to want to work. I've tried everything.

I'm unable to call for support due to my schedule and time differences etc (weekend reallly my only chance) so if anyone out there has a solution, please please let me know. Hulu was really the only reason I wanted Hide My Ip in the first place.

thanks!!

As other posts on this forum have indicated, HULU is unstable. It sometimes works with Hide My IP (or any hide ip software) and sometimes it thinks it is detecting an IP from another country when it is not. Its IP database may not be completely and regularly updated.

Any update on this?
Can we watch Fox now?

Can I make a suggestion based on all of this feedback, and perhaps I can speak of behalf of most of us here, but we did pay for a product that really isn't working the way it is supposed to, you have to at least admit that. If I'm not mistaken, the subscription to HMIP is a year (I think that's what I paid for)... most of the year has been (sorry to be blunt) but wasted. Perhaps HMIP can extend our subscriptions by a year as a measure of good faith and to retain us as customers for the long haul. I would think with all the problems we've experienced, it is likely that when each of us expire, we won't be renewing. But if HMIP is genuinely trying to fix this problem, don't you think we all deserve a working for product for a period of a year that we already paid for? If this was a broken MP3 player that worked when we bought it, and then it broke....we'd be returning it. Can you see where I'm coming from? I just think it would be the right thing to do, as well as the smart thing to do.

Thanks for listening.

- Your purchase of Hide My IP for 29.95 gives you access to our Basic system for life, not one year.
- When Fox changed their methodology of delivering video content, we have never represented that Hide My IP works with that system.
- Their software system is not our Compatibility List

There is nothing to "fix" as nothing has been broken. While we are trying to make Hide My IP compatible with that delivery methodology, we've never represented that HMIP works with their system.

See all your points Doug, and agree with what you have said.
Not your fault that Fox changed their method of delivery.
Is there any hope from your techs that they are getting anywhere in being able to make Hide My IP 2010 compatible with FOX?

The engineers and programmers would like nothing more than to be able to find a way to resolve this issue. I can safely tell anyone who is reading this post that resolving this issue is a very high priority with them.

Is this also a problem with the premium service?
